COVID-19 Response

Taking responsibility. Acting with Integrity. Serving the Community.

A Message from Frank Goldman, B'nai B'rith Colorado President

Taking responsible action in this time of need

B’nai B’rith Colorado launched its COVID-19 Relief Effort in May 2020 to assist those in need during the pandemic and economic downturn.  The Relief Effort has two components:  (1) a PPE Drive and (2) a Food Drive.

PPE and Food demands continue to skyrocket in our community.  Please consider making a meaningful contribution and help us reach our goal of raising at least $100,000.  B’nai B’rith Colorado has raised more than $60,000 in Relief Effort donations to date, but we urgently need your financial help to fulfill increasing requests for supplies.

Food Drive

B’nai B’rith Colorado is raising funds for Food Bank of the Rockies, which is distributing food to children, seniors, and families who are fighting hunger and food insecurity during this crisis.  Every $1 dollar donated to the Food Drive provides 4 meals to those in need.  B’nai B’rith Colorado has already provided approximately 85,000 meals through Food Bank of the Rockies.

B’nai B’rith Colorado also donated $5,000 to the Jewish Family Service Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Food Pantry.

Your charitable donations are 100% tax deductible, and no goods or services will be provided in exchange for your contributions.

PPE Drive

B’nai B’rith Colorado is raising money to procure and donate personal protective equipment (“PPE”) to at-risk facilities and vulnerable communities.  We have already donated thousands of adult and child masks, reusable face shields, hand sanitizer, contactless thermometers, hand soap, gloves, disinfectant, and other PPE to nursing homes and senior living facilities, hospitals, schools, synagogues, veterans centers, and other nonprofit service organizations.

B’nai B’rith Colorado continues to receive requests for essential PPE, and we expect that this demand will increase over the coming months.  As of December 23, 2020, we have raised and donated more than $30,000 in PPE supplies.  Please help us protect front-line works and at-risk members of our communities and stop the spread of this virus!

Your charitable donations are 100% tax deductible, and no goods or services will be provided in exchange for your contributions.

B’nai B’rith Colorado has faithfully served Colorado, the greater Rocky Mountain region, and beyond since 1872, continuously providing emergency relief, helping the less fortunate, and being a driving force for good.  Now, more than ever, we call upon you to provide life-saving supplies to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, our membership, and the people we serve, we appreciate your thoughtful and heartfelt support.
